| Karen is a wetland ecologist with a Master’s degree from South Dakota State University where she studied plant science (entomology). She has over 40 years of extensive experience in environmental compliance, wetland identification and delineation, and water quality resource assessment. She has completed 3,500 wetland determinations in her career and is a certified wetlands instructor. Karen’s strong wetlands technological foundation, along with her “big picture” approach to wetlands functions and values, allows her to provide insightful response to complex issues. | With a 37-year career at the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Wayne brings his exceptional expertise to every project. His diverse background in soil chemistry, classification, and mapping coupled with his extensive knowledge of water quality, make him an invaluable asset on the WSI team. Wayne brings a pragmatic, disciplined approach to implementing strategies, practices, and site-specific solutions.
